Classes

All classes should be paid before the class and supplies for the class purchased at A Knitters HideAway. Only 5 or 6 students per class. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact us. We are flexible, so let us know and we can rearrange class dates. Also, make sure to check out our store policy on classes.

Fridays Open Knitting - Free of charge! Bring your projects you need help with or just want to finish. How nice!!! It will be a fun day chatting and knitting. Bring your lunch or we can get carry out.

Evening Workshop - Every Thursday night at 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM. RSVP... Only $10 per 2 hours. Need help? Work on any project or learn something new. This charge is for the night class only. (We are also open for the evening if you need to just come in and purchase supplies.)

Beginning Knitting - Two 2 hour sessions 4 hours/$20 ... This is for the person who has never held a knitting needle in their hands. We will be making a small project, so it can be finished in two sessions.

Correcting Your Mistakes - Two hour session/$10... Learn basic correcting/ripping techniques and explanations of those abbreviations in the pattern, plus tips on pattern reading as well!

Finishing Class - One 2 hour session - 2 Hours/$10... (If you need more time it will be $10 for every two hour session) Learn how to properly finish your project. Whether it is a sweater or a smaller project. You will learn the basic stitches to put your together.

Pair of Socks - Three 2 shour sessions - 6 Hours/$30... Socks are a great project. Everyone loves socks in the winter and you will be ready for the cold weather. Make a pair of socks-both socks at the same time! All classes are three 2 hour sessions for a total of 6 hours. Or if you prefer, one pair at a time!

One Sock at a Time - Two 2 hour sessions - 4 Hours/$20... If a pair at a time seems too complicated, try this class!

Moebious Technique - One 2 hour session/$15... Great fun. Makes a circular scarf with no seams.

Felted Purse - Two 2 hour sessions - 4 hours/$20... Fun & easy knitting. Make a beautiful summer purse in bright bold colors & decorate it with cute felted flowers or be ready for fall and winter with deep rich winter colors! Make a purse and learn felting techniques.

Felted Mule Slippers - Three 2 hour sessions - 6 Hours/$30... These are soooo warm and cozy for winter and they make great gifts. The man in your house will love them too!

Felted Hats - Two 2 hour sessions - 4 Hours/$20... They are so stunning! You can do it!

Felted Mittens - Two 2 hour sessions - 4 hours/$20... These are soooo warm and make such a nice gift. They work up fast too!
